For your convenience we have selected a number of interesting excursions from the wide range of organised day trips. It goes for all the excursions that you are picked up on time and returned to the villa.

If you like us to make reservations, you can register this on the booking form. The payment of these excursions is to be made to the organising tour operator at the moment of pick up.

In the information book at the villa you will find more (shorter) day trips which you can do with your own rental car, taxi or dolmus.


	boating trip to Kekova. (the sunken city) With a traditional Gulet you will sail to Kekova where, deep under water, visible remains lay of what once was one of the greatest Lycian cities of the region. On your way you will pass several caves to swim in or snorkel. The excursion includes a lunch at Ugadir where you can limb the remains of a medieval castle. Impressive and a definite recommendation! Departure on Saturdays but other days are negotiable. Price GBP 20,- p.p. incl. lunch and transfers. Pick up time: 8.30 am, back at 6 pm. Saklikenk / Tlos / Yaka Park. For the more sporty type. This excursion will take you to the gorge of Saklikenk in the National Park of Tlos where, under the guidance of an expert, you can walk through this impressive gorge. Depending on the time of the year, you can walk through the arid river bed, but you will also get a wet suit when you have to find your way through the rough stream swimming and climbing ropes. Adventurous, but definitely responsible. Departure on Wednesday. Price: GBP 18,- p.p. incl. lunch and transfers. Pick up time: 9 am. (bring proper shoes and clothes that can get wet!) Kaya Koy/ Fethye Market/ Olu Deniz. The ghost town of Kaya Koy shows you some of the oldest remains of Lycian civilization. You will also visit the region’s largest market of Fethye, where you can literally buy anything for practically nothing! Finally you will visit the most photographed beach of Turkey, known from the famous posters: Olu Deniz. You can’t think of a more enchanting ending of the day! Departure on Tuesday. Price: GBP 19, - p.p. incl. lunch and transfers. Pick up time: 8.30 am. Canoeing on the Xanthos River. A fascinating combination of archaeological impressions and astonishing nature. Suitable for anyone (even for all the inexperienced kayakers amongst you) Under the guidance of experts you will descent the Xanthos River and you will be amazed by the ancient Lycian civilisation. You will also get a tour on the impressive nature where the river meanders through. Finally you can relax in a soothing mud bath. Departure on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Price: GBP 18,- p.p. incl. lunch and transfers. Pick up time: 9.30 am. Myra/ Kekova. Always thought that Santa Claus was from Spain? Visit the basilica of Myra, devoted to Saint Nicolas and you will know better. This excursion combines a beautiful bus ride to the enchanting Myra with the above mentioned boating trip to Kekova, the sunk city. An especially divers and interesting day, which you shouldn’t miss. Departure on Saturday. Price: GBP 26,- p.p. incl. lunch and transfers. Pick up time: 8.30 am, back by: 7 pm.
